S016 - Mexican Liquid Amber

Some people believe that the best of the Elephant range of beans come from Mexico and not Kenya or Guatamala. These LiquidAmber MS are the best elephant beans from the Altura region in the South of the country.

Elsewhere in Mexico, quality can vary, but with the collapse of the Coffee Agreement and the disappearance of the price support has actually boosted the quality as producers have been forced to develop closer relationships with their main markets (in the US). The NAFTA agreement now assits Mexico's coffee export markets to the rest of North America.

The coffee has a smooth and fragrant depth of flavour and is medium to dark roasted.
